Kenny Zhu is Director, Research & Investment Strategy at Sprott Asset Management. He has more than a decade of investment and financial industry experience spanning commodities, energy, fixed income and investment research. In his role at Sprott, Mr. Zhu provides research and market analysis across precious metals and critical materials, helping develop investment insights and thought leadership. Prior to joining Sprott, Mr. Zhu was an AVP Research Analyst at Global X, where he covered energy and commodities, including uranium and nuclear power, natural gas, precious metals, copper, lithium and rare earths, and he served on the Investment Committee for the Global X Active Commodities Strategy ETF. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zhu worked in fixed income portfolio structuring at PFM Asset Management/U.S. Bank, where he helped develop and implement investment strategies for institutional clients.
Mr. Zhu earned a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Politics from Carnegie Mellon University, with an additional major in Professional Writing and a minor in Business Administration. He is a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Zhu is an experienced financial commentator and writer and has been interviewed or quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, Barron’s and other financial media.
