Chris von Strasser is Managing Partner, Institutional Marketing, Sprott Inc. Prior to joining Sprott in 2019, he served as Senior Vice President at the Red Kite Group, a commodity focused manager, where he ran global marketing and helped grow the private equity business to one of the largest in the metals and mining sector (the PE business spun out as Orion Resource Partners). Before Red Kite, Mr. von Strasser was a founding partner and COO of an investment firm in the activist, small capitalization equity space based in New York. Chris received a BA from Colgate University in 1979 and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in 1981.
