Tim Sorensen

CEO/Director, Sprott Capital Partners; Managing Director, Sprott Inc.

Tim Sorensen is CEO and Director of Sprott Capital Partners LP. He is also a Managing Director of Sprott Inc., the parent company of the broker-dealer. Mr. Sorensen has more than 20 years of capital markets experience. He is the former President of Primary Capital Inc., an Exempt Market Dealer focused on advising and financing Canadian growth companies, with an emphasis on the resource sector. Prior to joining Primary, he was Head of Institutional Equity Sales for Macquarie Capital Markets Canada. He was an equity analyst for Dundee Securities before becoming an institutional equity sales representative. He currently sits on the board of Merus Labs International, Carrot Insights and Grapes for Humanity. Mr. Sorensen has a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees and is a CFA® charterholder.
