Kostas Kormpis

Konstantinos is a mining engineer by trade with experience in open pit coal and oil sands mining. Prior to joining Sprott, he worked as a mining industry & metals markets analyst with McKinsey’s MineSpans team, where he was responsible for modelling and benchmarking mines globally. Previous experience includes Mine Performance Engineer and Capital Project studies at Kearl mine with Imperial Oil and short-range planning and dispatch engineer positions at a coal mine in Greece. Konstantinos hold a BEng. in Mining & Metallurgical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and an MEng. in Mining Economics & Finance from the University of British Columbia.
